Individual Therapy
Therapy isn't about fixing what's broken—it's about understanding what's true.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, identity questions, difficult relationship patterns, or the kind of burnout that won't quit, individual therapy with me is a relational, trauma-informed space where you can slow down and be fully yourself. Working with adults across Oakland, Berkeley, and the Bay Area, I help you understand your emotions, shift what feels stuck, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself—especially through moments of transition, grief, or uncertainty.
The goal isn't to erase your pain or rush your healing. It's to explore it together, uncover what your experiences are trying to tell you, and develop real emotional resilience for the long term.

I work with individuals who are used to being responsible, who carry internal pressure to perform, and who want a grounded, thoughtful space to explore:
anxiety and chronic stress
trauma and attachment wounds
identity exploration and life transitions
relationship patterns that feel painful or repetitive
family dynamics and cultural expectations
self-criticism and perfectionism
Together we explore how these experiences developed and how they continue to shape your emotional world today.

My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcomes individuals exploring gender, sexuality, identity, and belonging. Therapy can offer a space to unpack internalized messages, navigate family or cultural dynamics, and develop a stronger sense of self.

Individual therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong.” Instead, it is a process of understanding yourself more deeply and creating space for growth, healing, and meaningful change.
